Chief Executive Editor
- Defining and executing the editorial strategy of a publication
- Develop content ideas
- Hiring, managing, and mentoring a team of editors, writers, and other content creators.
- Manage editorial staff
- Monitor and evaluate content performance
- Review and approve content
- Reviewing and approving all content before publication, ensuring that it meets the standards of quality, accuracy, and style
- Stay updated and innovative, developing a vision and a plan for the website that aligns with the platform’s goals and audience needs
- Working with other executives and stakeholders to optimize the website’s performance, reach, and revenue; and staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the online publishing industry and adapting the website accordingly
Founder & Managing Editor
- Build relationships inside the business
- Develop and execute content strategy
- Ensure all those roles stay filled and that everyone works together seamlessly
- Hiring and overseeing a variety of content roles, including freelancers and part-timers

International Advisory Board
- Be actively involved in discussion and finalization on strategic plan and long-term achievement of the journal with editor-in-chief and other editorial board members
- Be actively involved in promoting the journal development and public awareness
- Make decision on manuscripts, especially when Editor-in-Chief or other academic editors have conflicts of interest with authors
- Provide suggestion to the editor-in-chief regarding to the scope and direction of the journal
- Provide technical support and professional advice to promote scientific content of the journal
- Recommend other experts to join editorial board
- Review certain number of manuscript, especially when reviewers provide conflicting recommendations
Editorial Board
- Attend editorial meetings and assist in strategic decision-making
- Help the journal attract high-quality manuscripts by promoting the journal at relevant conferences and workshops
- May be designated by the editor-in-chief to act as a handling editor on relevant articles and oversee the review and editorial decision-making process
- Provide feedback and suggestions for the improvements of the journal
- Provide scientific expertise for the journal
- Serve as peer reviewer on selected articles
- Suggest topics and authors for commissioned reviews and commentaries
Production Editor
- Avoid outdated/invalid methods, even if pre-specified in the protocol
- Ensure that all copy editing is done properly then send to the publisher for the final production stage
- Provide statistical direction to the journal
- To ensure that the statistical tests used were appropriate, the results are properly interpreted and reported
- Validating statistical methodology, trends and results
