ScienceScholar (SS) began publication in 2017. A decision was made to streamline SS into four journals to meet the need for specialized journals in areas of study aligned with the interdisciplinary strengths of the university.

The revamped SS is now an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of original papers. It serves as a forum for practical approaches to improving quality in issues pertaining to linguistics, literature, culture, management, it, social sciences, engineering, as well as scientific research, particularly in  Universidad Tecnica de Manabi and ScienceScholar Institution.
