Effect of changes in the electronic procurement system (SPSE) version 4.3 and the competence on the performance of procurement officers in pasuruan district government
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the changes in the system of procurement of goods/services and competence on the performance of procurement officers in Pasuruan District Government, East Java Indonesia. This study uses quantitative data derived from primary sources collected by questionnaires. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling in which all of the employees become samples of this study. The method of data analysis used is instrument testing which is conducted through validity and reliability testing. While the technique of data analysis used is the descriptive analysis method, testing of classical assumptions, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, the variables of changes in the system of procurement of goods/ services and competence significantly influence the variable of the performance of the procurement officers. However, partially, competence variable is not significantly influencing of performance. This also for changes in the electronic procurement system, it does not have a significant influence on performance. Therefore, it is expected that through improving both of competence and changes of electronic procurement system can improve the procurement officer’s performance in the Pasuruan District Government.
