Caring for religious diversity according to christian perspective for NKRI and its implications for christian education

In this paper, the author studies the importance of caring for religious diversity from Christian perspective. This paper departs from the writer's anxiety that the religious diversity in Indonesia has always generated controversy among religious communities. The method that used in this paper is a qualitative research method, the author approaches Cynthia M. Campbell's thinking about a Christian approach to religious diversity. The analysis process carried out by the author is to use a variety of reliable literature and electronic sources to support the author's analysis. From the results of this study, it is found that, the collateral of religious freedom in Indonesia has been regulated by Pancasila and Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, religious diversity according to Christian perspective is God's work that must be cared together, the theological pedagogical implication (the Bible) can be applied in the life of religious diversity in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to show that religious freedom in Indonesia is built on a theological perspective.
