How transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior influence organizational resilience during COVID-19 pandemic
A cross sectional study at hospital in East Kalimantan, Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Organizational Resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic at Hospital in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study was conducted in December 2021 at a type B referral hospital for COVID-19 in East Kalimantan. Questionnaires was used to obtain data, and the data was analyzed using SmartPLS software. The population of the study was the manager of the type B referral hospital for COVID-19 in East Kalimantan. A total of the respondents were 218 managers. The sampling technique in this research was total sampling with a response rate of 97%. The results of this study show: Transformational Leadership has a significant positive effect on the Organizational Resilience (p = 0,036), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior has no significant effect on the Organizational Resilience (p = 0,295). Leadership competence should be one of the hospital director's main capacities to enhance hospital resilience during a crisis.
