Abstract

Depression is among the most prevalent and specific issues that women face during or after pregnancy. Postpartum depression impacts the mother's social and healthy relationships, as well as has a devastating effect on the infant's development. The goal of this study was to find out how postpartum depression is in Indian mothers and what variables contribute to it. In this study 390 women were included as a sample. PPD was diagnosed using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale.
