Abstract

Objective:. This literature review aims to determine herbal medicines in healing and preventing infection in Sectio Caesarea wounds. Method : a literature Review method that synthesizes literature studies by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating data from previous studies. Result: There were 27 indexed and reputable journals, including 17 international journals and nine national journals. The results of the analysis showed the presence of turmeric content that plays an active role in wound healing, namely alkaloids, saponins, tannins, and essential oils as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiproliferative. Conclusion : The content of metabolites that play an important role in the wound healing process are flavonoids, saponins, and essential oils because these metabolites play a role in anti-inflammatory effects on wounds.
